WackyCoder™ Senior AI Workshop
This lesson teaches a repeatable process for checking whether digital information really came from the claimed source, whether it was altered, and whether the underlying claim is actually true.
The WackyCoder™ V.E.R.I.F.Y. process
- V — Verify the Source: Who created it? Where did it originate?
- E — Examine the Evidence: Check URLs, headers, metadata, signatures, timestamps, and supporting sources.
- R — Recognize Manipulation: Look for missing context, edits, cloned voices, urgency, and inconsistencies.
- I — Inspect the Context: When, where, and why was it created?
- F — Follow It Back: Go to the original source rather than a repost or screenshot.
- Y — Yield Before Sharing: If you cannot verify it, stop and label it unverified.
Critical distinction
Authentication can help answer who sent something and whether it was altered. It does not automatically prove that the statement itself is true.
Key takeaway: Verify the source, the integrity, and the claim separately.
